How addicted are we to our Smartphones?

How many times do we see a table full of people at any age range all consumed on their phones? We all talk about how much our lives revolve around our smartphones. Waiting at the bus stop, in line at the grocery store, killing time before your kids get out of school or sitting around a social event on your social network. Cell phones have been around for a long time; but never were people so addicted to them until Apps started taking over. Besides the phone, text, and email features of a smartphone, it is the Apps that are drawing us in to that addiction level.

Can you believe, we can be in a social environment with friends we haven't seen in years yet checking our Facebook to see what someone is up to whom we've never even met; crazy to believe that this is our life. So, what do we do? Do we throw our smartphones out the window and rebel against technology? Of course not, we embrace it! We get the next version that keeps me even more connected and gives me even more of a reason to be focused on our mobile devices.

As humans, we are built to notice our technology based problems, yet too proud of them to get rid of them. With Apps making our lives easier and more convenient, it is no wonder why we are contently hearing about and downloading the next “cool” app. That's the reason why laptops aren't being purchased as much as smartphones resulting in more and more mobile apps being created and approved. Don’t expect this trend to die down anytime soon, with every app market quickly growing with new, innovative, and creative app ideas flowing at an all time high. This is a golden sign that smartphones aren't going away anytime soon and embracing rather than avoiding them is the smart move.

Building Mobile Apps for your business; things you should know.

Building Mobile Apps for your business; things you should know. Building Apps for your business is the next wave of technology that is sweeping the nation. Most businesses have already either build, started to build, or in talks for building mobile apps to increase interactions with their clients and fans. The Mobile App world is growing at a rapid pace and even more so now that businesses are utilizing the various platforms to extend their marketing and branding strategies. Do you want to jump on the App bandwagon and extend your connection with your customers? Here are a few things to consider.

First thing to consider is, what is the main goal or purpose of your mobile apps? You can always add other features with updates down the line, but establishing the main feature is the first step. Creating the app in stages is very beneficial because you can start engagement with your clients and fans sooner rather than later. Also, you can start to generate profits through the mobile apps that you can later invest back into the app and develop other features for your users.
Doing your research is a key element in development; understanding what others considered as competition are doing with their apps, how they are doing it, and how you think it can be beneficial for your company. Now that you know your overall goal, you can better understand and conduct research. During the research and goal process, determining what platform, Apple, Android, or Windows is the best for your company or business.
Designing the Mobile Apps Icon is very important and often overlooked in the design stage. Understanding that having a icon that stands out, appealing, and incorporation of your logo or color theme is essential as this is the one thing that is going to be on all your users wallpaper and essentially in their face. Some Apps will actually change the colors anytime they do some updates to engage users to see what changes they have made. This intrigues users enough to go back and check out an app they already have downloaded. Others will send push notification once they have updated their app to further draw users.
The process of taking an idea and making it an app can get expensive and time consuming; not to mention finding the right professionals for the job.AllureApps has taken this difficult step out of the equation by offering a Mobile Application Development Service that covers everything from A to Z.
